Dalla Pickle is prepared with cherry chilli pepper, which are preserved in oil with the addition of aromatic spices in the Nepalese style. The ingredients are carefully selected to bring out the best flavor of the marinade.

Dalle Khursani (cherry chilli peppers) are mild to moderately hot peppers that are small, round, and red, hence the name. Cherry peppers are commonly pickled. They have a spicy profile, which can range in intensity depending on the variety; cherry peppers are 2,500 to 5,000 on the Scoville scale, coming in a little behind jalapenos.
